Pam Houston is the author of two award-winning collections of linked short stories, Cowboys Are My Weakness, and Waltzing the Cat. Her stories have been selected for a number of anthologies, and she published her first novel in 2005. She teaches at UC-Davis for part of the year, and lives in Colorado near the headwaters of the Rio Grande.
