Man, Machine, or Monster?
No, we’re not speculating about the ancestry of the IRS….but you can join us on “Tax Day” to journey through the realm of speculative fiction, with short stories by two of our favorite Colorado writers. James Van Pelt has a number of published short story collections & young adult fiction – the actors of Colorado Homegrown Tales will read one story from our state’s past, and one from a possible future (or could it be our present day?!). We’ll also feature another gem of a tale from Wayne Faust, who floats a theory that just might be all too real (insert evil laugh here)…
Join us for an afternoon of readings that will bring a smile to your face, as well as some chills down your spine.
Sunday, April 15, 6 pm at the Broadway Book Mall
Saturday, April 21, 4 pm at the Byers-Evans House
Tickets are $10. Please call 720-233-0811 for ticket information; reservations recommended but not required (due to limited seating capacity). Both venues are handicapped-accessible.
